Bij Avila Reizen geloven we dat reizen meer kan zijn dan alleen het ontdekken van de wereld. Toerisme kan bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling van lokale gemeenschappen, het behoud van natuur en cultureel erfgoed, en het creëren van economische kansen op bestemmingen. Daarom nemen wij deel aan Pristine Mood, het duurzaamheidsprogramma van Traveller Made.
Pristine Mood is een internationaal initiatief dat luxe reisorganisaties helpt om duurzaamheid en maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen structureel te verankeren in hun bedrijfsvoering. Het programma richt zich op een breed scala aan thema's, waaronder natuurbehoud, klimaat, mensenrechten, cultureel erfgoed, lokale gemeenschappen, leveranciersbeleid en verantwoord ondernemerschap. Organisaties worden gestimuleerd om concrete acties te implementeren, deze meetbaar te maken en voortdurend verder te ontwikkelen.
Met trots hebben wij in oktober 2026 de Budding-status behaald binnen het Pristine Mood-programma. Om deze erkenning te ontvangen, hebben we 61 concrete acties geïntegreerd in onze dagelijkse bedrijfsvoering en managementsysteem. Deze acties hebben onder meer betrekking op duurzame samenwerking met partners, ondersteuning van lokale gemeenschappen, bescherming van cultureel erfgoed, verantwoord leveranciersbeleid en het vergroten van positieve impact op bestemmingen.
