Current vacancy: ‘Travel Specialist in Belgium’

Avila Reizen is currently looking for a:
Travel Specialist (32–40 hours per week)

Who are we looking for?
You are a driven, positive person with a love of travel and a passion for providing excellent service. You are organised, responsible and able to work well independently. At the same time, you enjoy being part of a close-knit team within a family business. You feel at home in a dynamic organisation and have an affinity with other cultures.

You have:
– an affinity with the travel industry; a qualification in tourism is an advantage;
– travel experience; an affinity with Australia and New Zealand is an advantage;
– a commercial mindset; experience in a sales role is an advantage;
– an excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an advantage;

What do we offer?
We offer you a challenging role in which you will be responsible for putting together (exclusive) bespoke individual holidays and special group tours worldwide. The role of travel specialist offers you plenty of commercial challenges. You will build relationships with clients. You will be able to work independently, with scope to express your opinions and suggest improvements. You will also be responsible for the operational handling of the trip following its sale. Your main task is to exceed the customer’s expectations.

The role is preferably for 40 hours per week, but 32 hours per week is negotiable.

Naturally, as a travel organisation, you will be able to benefit from various travel-related perks that we can offer you. You will be based at our office in the centre of Antwerp. In addition, Avila Reizen’s head office is located in the historic city centre of Haarlem, in the Netherlands, from where you will also work occasionally to strengthen the connection with the team there.

Current vacancy: ‘Sales Assistant in Belgium’

Sales Assistant (32–40 hours per week)

Who are we looking for?
Are you a natural connector who thrives on meeting people, building relationships and identifying opportunities? Then we’re looking for you!
You understand what drives customers, help devise suitable solutions and turn commercial opportunities into long-term partnerships. With your enthusiasm, persuasiveness and genuine interest, you know how to strengthen relationships and help our organisation grow further.

What will you be doing?

  • Actively networking and approaching new B2B clients;
  • Maintaining and further developing client relationships;
  • Preparing for and conducting client meetings;
  • Identifying and following up on potential opportunities;
  • Attending events to network;
  • Welcoming customers at the office and providing a professional service;
  • Working with colleagues to achieve commercial objectives.

Who are you?
You have an affinity with the travel industry and are sociable, enterprising and a strong communicator. You have a commercial mindset and enjoy being on the move, meeting new people and building long-term relationships. You also work independently, take the initiative and are energised by commercial success. You have an excellent command of Dutch and English; French is an advantage.

What do we offer?
As a Sales Representative, you are the face of our organisation. You actively build our network in Belgium by maintaining existing business relationships and establishing new contacts. You will visit companies, represent our organisation at networking events and effortlessly open doors with potential clients. At the same time, you will ensure that clients feel welcome when they visit our office.
