Fish River Lodge

Fish River Lodge in southern Namibia is the only lodge located directly on the edge of Fish River Canyon, offering guests breathtaking views of the canyon from sunrise to sunset. Behold the geological forces that began 300 million years ago, when the Fish River began etching its way through hard quartzite, forming a canyon 90 kilometres long, 549 metres deep and up to 28 kilometres wide in places. This makes it the world's single largest canyon . The 45000-hectare Canyon Nature Park is also a natural haven for flora and native wildlife. Hiking trails wind down to the banks of the 75km-long river. Hartmans Zebra, kudu, oryx, springbok and so many more can be encountered here.
