Tbilisi
Georgia's capital: Tbilisi, located in the central-eastern part of Georgia, is known for its diverse architecture, vibrant art and culture and delectable cuisine. The city's complicated Persian and Russian history expresses itself through its Eastern Orthodox churches, ornate Art Nouveau buildings and Soviet modernist structures. The city is also home to Narikala, a reconstructed 4th-century fortress, and Kartlis Deda, an iconic statue of the 'Mother of Georgia'. With everything from contemporary museums to funky bars and clubs, the city's art, culture and lifestyle will keep you entertained. The fantastic traditional and international cuisine attracts foodies from near and far. A city where you will enjoy culinary dishes!
Georgia
Georgia, situated at the crossroads of Europe and the East, is a small country of immense natural beauty. The majestic Caucasus Mountains stretch from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea coast, encompassing fertile valleys, flower-strewn meadows and snow-capped peaks along the way. The capital, Tbilisi, boasts a picturesque old town and a diverse cultural heritage – here you’ll find mosques alongside Victorian villas, ancient churches and quaint terraced houses. To the north-west of the city lie the hilltop Jvari Monastery and the ancient capital, Mtskheta – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This ancient city is home to a medieval church where Christianity was officially adopted as the country’s religion in 337 AD.
Further north lies the country’s top attraction – the Caucasus Mountains – with their network of stunning hiking trails. Highlights include Kazbegi, with a peak reaching 5,000 metres, and the lush, remote regions of Tusheti and Svaneti. Georgia also boasts fascinating cultural and archaeological attractions, such as a museum dedicated to its most famous son – Stalin – and ancient cave cities where religious minority groups took refuge to escape persecution. And foodies are in for a treat here – Georgian cuisine and wine are fantastic!

Gudauri
Gudauri, located on the south-facing plateau of the Great Caucasus Mountains in Georgia, is a popular ski resort near the Jvari Pass in the Stepantsminda district. Visitors flock here to ski the mountain slopes in winter and hike the lush mountain trails in summer. This winter sports mecca offers more than just skiing with exciting heliskiing, speed riding and paragliding. Skiers can experience some of Europe's best ski slopes that reach altitudes between 1,500 and 4,200 metres above sea level. Start your heliskiing adventure from the top of a mountain, a glacier or some steep ridges.
