Destinations
Rome
Rome is a city unique in the sheer diversity of its cultural repertoire; you could spend months in Rome and still discover only a fraction of all the treasures in this phenomenal ancient city. 3,000 years of urban development has resulted in a complex cocktail of art, history and architecture full of fascinating cultural contrasts. Classical ruins as well as numerous early Christian catacombs and clandestine churches sit alongside (or under) magnificent Renaissance palazzos and breathtaking Baroque fountains. This unique combination of a rich historical tapestry interwoven with vibrant and modern Italian life, as only the Italians can, makes the Eternal City of Italy one of the world's most intriguing and inspiring destinations.

Naples
Fronted by mighty Vesuvius, with the remarkable archaeological site of Pompeii on its doorstep, Naples has a long and fascinating history. Naples predates the Italian state, resulting in an almost unparalleled abundance of Greek and Roman artefacts. Naples is unlike any other Italian city - it is huge, sharp and disorderly and yet this contemporary chaos continues against the backdrop of some of Italy's largest and most impressive historical squares, world-class museums and breathtaking Baroque masterpieces. The city's narrow, cobbled and often chaotic streets are dotted with atmospheric terraces and charming boutiques, tucked away under crumbling stone porticoes. And then there is the city's food. The birthplace of pizza and home to perhaps the most sumptuous culinary scene in any country, Naples is also a prime destination for food lovers. Try to look past its rugged, grainy exterior and Naples will reward you in many surprising ways!

Lipari Island
Lipari, the largest island in the Aeolian archipelago off the northern coast of Sicily, enchants visitors with its beautiful beaches, impressive cathedrals, fascinating museums and diverse natural landscape. The landscape is characterised by steep cliffs, lush Sicilian vegetation and warm blue sea, making the island a true paradise for lovers of nature and culture.
There are plenty of activities to choose from: take a walk to the crater in the Riserva Naturale Orientata Isola di Vulcano, take a boat trip past the active Stromboli and towards Panarea to admire the eruptions from the sea, or follow a panoramic circular walk around the island past spectacular viewpoints and historic ruins. You can relax at the San Calogero hot springs or on one of the many beaches, with Havana Beach renowned as one of the most beautiful spots for swimming.
For culture lovers, the Archaeological Museum of Lipari offers a fascinating collection including Neolithic and Bronze Age finds, Greek theatre masks and cargoes from shipwrecks. Lipari combines nature, history and relaxation into an unforgettable island experience.

Ajaccio
Ajaccio is the capital of the French Mediterranean island of Corsica. This popular destination boasts a bustling port and an impressive citadel with a charming historic core, complete with attractive streets lined with pretty pastel-coloured houses. Here in the old town, you will find the first house and birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, which has been converted into a museum with a collection of his personal belongings. There are also a number of other interesting museums to visit, including the Fesch museum with a collection of Italian paintings and the A Bandera museum, focusing on Corsica's local history and culture. For sun-worshippers, there are a number of beautiful beaches.

Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo is a glamorous coastal town that forms the central part of the tiny principality of Monaco, nestled between the coastal towns of the South of France. The city attracts many holidaymakers with its breathtaking glass skyscrapers, luxury hotels and casinos, delightful beach facilities and impressive marina. The city’s grand, historic casino is surrounded by lush gardens and fountains and a spectacular quarter of historic buildings that now serves as a magnificent shopping district, filled with haute couture boutiques and jewellers. An incredible variety of first-class restaurants, bars and clubs keep night owls and socialites happy, whilst music lovers and history buffs can enjoy the chance to visit the prestigious Opera de Monte-Carlo or the Salle Garnier, designed by the architect behind the Paris Opera House. Yacht owners and active types who love water sports will find a paradise in the city’s harbour.

Marseille
Located near the mouth of the Rhone on France's enchanting southern coast, in the province of Provence, Marseille is the country's second-largest city, its oldest city, and since 2013, its 'Capital of Culture'. Since then, five major new art centres have been developed, the Old Port has been beautifully renovated and neighbourhoods, shops, restaurants and museums revitalised. The result is a vibrant, cosmopolitan and innovative port city inhabited by trendy, multicultural urbanites. Wander through colourful, spicy French-African markets, visit the impressive Basilique de Notre-Dame de la Garde, browse chic boutiques on the historic main street, or sample a steaming bowl of Marseille's famous bouillabaisse. The options are as diverse as they are tempting.

Lipari
Lipari is the largest island in the Aeolian Islands. The island is renowned for its beaches, remarkable cathedrals, interesting museums and stunning landscapes. With its towering cliffs, lush Sicilian vegetation and warm, blue waters, the island’s natural beauty is breathtaking and there is plenty to discover. Take a walk to the crater at the Riserva Naturale Orientata Isola di Vulcano or follow the island’s beautiful circular route, dotted with spectacular viewpoints and ruins. Take a dip in the San Calogero Hot Springs for a natural spa experience. There are several beaches, each with its own unique characteristics. A visit to the Archaeological Museum is also well worth it. Here you’ll find artefacts from the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, Greek theatrical masks, shipwrecks and much more!
Barcelona
Barcelona, situated on Spain’s beautiful south-east coast, is the capital and largest city of the region of Catalonia. It is a stunning coastal metropolis. With its dizzying array of architecture and world-class museums, artistic masterpieces can be found on every street corner. Alongside these attractions, a rich, unique culture contributes to a special atmosphere and a strong sense of community, which is celebrated during the famous ‘festes’, weekly public celebrations of folkloric traditions. Cities such as Barcelona and Girona offer a phenomenal combination of vibrant nightlife and the centuries-old heritage of Gothic churches, medieval buildings and countless museums, whilst coastal towns such as Sitges offer an alluring holiday atmosphere. Nature lovers can retreat to areas such as the Aiguestortes National Park to discover impressive mountains, lush forests and beautiful waters. The region’s artistic hero, Salvador Dalí, is honoured in many ways, but Catalonia’s incredibly rich and diverse art scene extends far beyond any one man.
Spain
Spain usually conjures up images of matadors, sangria, flamenco dancers and paella. While Spain offers all these traditional facets in abundance, its real appeal is found in its passionate, laid-back people and unbeatable natural beauty. Even along well-preserved tourist routes, there are authentic Spanish experiences to be found, traditional local dishes to sample and idyllic villages of timeless charm to discover. Like the country's famous tapas, Spain itself is a wonderful mix of thriving cities, festivals, panoramic views and breathtaking beaches, making it a beautiful and enchanting country.

Pure granite cliffs fall away into cobalt blue waters, picture-perfect beaches, pine-covered peaks and glacial lakes, giving it the nickname 'The Beautiful Island'. However, Corsica also has some incredible old buildings, a quirky café culture and a fantastic nightlife, mainly based on the lively port area. The island has adopted a strong Italian flavour from its neighbour Sardinia, and visitors can look forward to the cultural and culinary influences of both countries. The Lavezzi archipelago, an accumulation of small islands just off the coast, offers crystal-clear bays where water lovers can enjoy fantastic diving and snorkelling.
France
France has been one of Europe's best-visited destinations for years, and for good reason, of course. There is an incredible amount to experience in La Belle France. Think for example of the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Montmartre and the Louvre. You will also find many special regions in France, where you can fully enjoy locally produced wines, champagnes and dishes. In the famous Bourgogne, you will find many wineries and excellent restaurants, which take the farm-to-table principle to the next level. France is also undoubtedly a real sunshine destination. In the south, the country borders the Mediterranean Sea. You will therefore find many beautiful beaches to enjoy. Travellers know where to find France not only during the summer months, but also during the winter. Especially in the French Alps, you will find many excellent ski resorts, where you can brave beautiful slopes while enjoying the luxury of private chalets. France is therefore an unmissable destination for any travel lover!
French Riviera

With its old-world charm, modern decadence and stunning Angel Bay location, Nice is one of the Cote d'Azur's most irresistible destinations. Wander the elegant seaside boulevards past magnificent architecture from the turn of the last century; take a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais overlooking bays and beaches, or admire the amazing array of fresh produce at the city's vibrant fruit and flower market. One of the most picturesque towns is Èze, with its medieval stone houses and winding streets on a rugged 420-metre-high peak against a cobalt-Mediterranean backdrop, while the quaint medieval village of Grasse is famous for its exquisite perfumes and fragrant lavender fields.

The second-smallest country in the world is renowned for its glitz, glamour, opulence and hedonism, and is the place to be for the ‘rich and famous’. The prestigious Monaco offers both historical and modern attractions. Also known as ‘the Rock’ due to its impressive medieval stone architecture, Monaco-Ville is the oldest part of the city, where the pedestrian streets are lined with opulent palaces, immaculate gardens and, of course, the magnificent Roman-Byzantine Monaco Cathedral. The magnificent harbour, La Condamine, is filled with extravagant superyachts and cruise ships and is home to the charming Condamine market and the upmarket Rue Princesse-Caroline Mall. Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur
Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, one of the most popular holiday regions in France, stretches from the sea to the Alps and borders Italy to the east and the Rhône River to the west. Fields of lavender, glitzy seaside resorts and marinas along the beautiful coastline, ancient cities and excellent wine and perfume production are just some of the attractions of this enticing region. Watch bulls, horses and pink flamingos in the Camargue, enjoy the splendour of the impressive Verdon Canyon and go fruit-picking in the French Riviera; or explore the region's numerous natural parks and ski routes. Immerse yourself in the country's heritage in cities such as Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Arles, which (along with other parts of the country) inspired Vincent Van Gogh. Head to Cannes and Marseille for a dose of contemporary art and culture.
Luberon
A beguiling region of rugged mountains, medieval towns, sprawling vineyards, and proud Provencal culture, Luberon is a discerning traveller's delight located in Southern France's Provence area. Favourite destinations include Gordes, for spectacular views of the Luberon's limestone peaks, and La Ilse de la Sorgue, with its vibrant weekend market. Five of the Luberon villages are listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Make sure to visit Les Baux, a charming village with fairy-tale-like stone castles; and Roussillon, with its dramatic cliffs radiating shades of yellow, pink, red and purple. The sensational cedar forest just south of Bonnieux is a popular spot among hikers and mountain bikers. The wood also boasts a new trail that's wheelchair accessible and a wonderful winding drive.
Aeolian Islands
Located north of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian Sea, the seven Aeolian Islands are known for their extreme nature and variety of activities. The breathtaking, ongoing volcanic phenomena of these land masses - especially incredible to see as they light up the sky at night - have awarded them UNESCO status, and provide some spectacular hiking and photography opportunities. The unique feature can also be enjoyed underwater, by snorkelling among the fumaroles off the coast of Panarea. There are plenty of options for those who don't wish to exert themselves: hop from wine estate to restaurant to enjoy the archipelago's legendary, sweet Malvasia wine; soak in a natural bubbling mud-bath with curative properties while taking in the views, or wander among the picturesque buildings of the historic quarter in Lipari.
Sicily
Located at the tip of Italy's 'boot', the large island of Sicily is a beautiful destination that seamlessly blends African and European art, history and folklore to create an extraordinary cultural destination. This special island has an awful lot to offer, including swimming past breathtaking ancient ruins, skiing on the slopes of a snow-capped volcano or sipping a granita in a quaint seaside café. Sicily is divided into nine provinces, each offering unique geographical features. In the northeast, you will find surprisingly lush forests, while the central regions display rugged landscape and endless rolling hills. Add the pink blossoming almond orchards and the beautiful salt flats and windmills of Trapani and you will understand why visiting Sicily can feel like visiting many different countries, all wrapped up in one island paradise.
