The fishing village of Flic en Flac in Mauritius is located in the Black River district on the west coast of the island, about 15 kilometres south of the capital, Port Louis. What was once a small fishing village has developed into one of the most beautiful tourist areas in the country. Its glorious golden sand beach is the longest on the island and is lined with casuarina trees and luxury hotels.
