Jersey holiday | Guernsey & Jersey in style

On this trip, you’ll combine the charm of Guernsey with the diversity of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands. On Guernsey, you’ll stroll through the atmospheric streets of St Peter Port and admire historic buildings, picturesque harbour views and hidden squares. From the water, you’ll explore the coast on an exciting boat trip past imposing cliffs, historic forts and perhaps even curious dolphins. You’ll visit the Meller family farm in Fauxquets Valley and, on the Rocquette Cider Tour, learn all about the craft of cider-making, including a delicious tasting of cider and fruit liqueurs. The day concludes with a spectacular sunset at Cobo Bay, where you’ll enjoy a glass of champagne and traditional fish and chips whilst relaxing in comfortable lounge chairs on the sand.

Afterwards, you’ll discover a fascinating blend of nature, history and gastronomy on Jersey. Visit the impressive La Hougue Bie, one of the oldest structures in the world, where thousands of years of history converge. Next, admire the iconic Mont Orgueil Castle, which has overlooked the picturesque harbour of Gorey for centuries and offers stunning views of the coast. Food lovers will be in their element with dinners at some of the island’s finest restaurants, where fresh seafood, local specialities and refined cuisine take centre stage. Together, Guernsey and Jersey offer a surprising combination of nature, culture and relaxation.

Channel Islands

Dotting the English Channel, the Channel Islands are an archipelago just off the French coast of Normandy. They consist of Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm, which are just a short hop away from mainland Europe and Britain. The islands boast a French flavour and English charm. They are characterised by rolling countryside, rugged coastlines and pristine beaches. Visitors can explore the rich cultural heritage of these islands, discover prehistoric sites and find remnants of the German occupation during the Second World War. Highlights of the Channel Islands include: the Jersey War Tunnels, the car-free island of Sark, the medieval Mount Orgueil Castle, the remote natural beauty of Alderney, the unspoilt beaches of Herm and the seafood restaurants of St Helier.

Jersey

Located in the English Channel between England and France lies Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands. This diverse island is characterised by rugged cliffs, idyllic beaches, winding country lanes and a rich history. Discover impressive sights such as the medieval Mont Orgueil Castle, the imposing Elizabeth Castle and the ruins of Grosnez Castle, each of which tells its own story. Learn about the island’s maritime past at the Maritime Museum, explore the spectacular coastline by kayak or boat, and spot seals, dolphins and countless seabirds along the way. You can also enjoy relaxing walks along the beach, picturesque coastal drives and delicious local cuisine. Jersey combines the best of island life: unspoilt nature, fascinating history and authentic charm.

Guernsey

Situated off the French coast, Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel. The island is renowned for its charming seaside resorts, stunning views and rich history. Every bay and beach has its own character: from tranquil coves and sheltered sandy beaches to spots offering excellent opportunities for water sports. Along the coast, you’ll find an extensive network of walking and cycling trails that wind through heathland, along cliffs and across panoramic coastal paths. Island-hopping is also an option, with even more idyllic beaches and nature reserves within easy reach.
History enthusiasts can visit ancient Neolithic monuments and burial chambers, learn more about Guernsey’s maritime past and discover impressive Second World War defences. Be sure to visit the inspiring exhibitions at the historic Gatehouse Gallery and enjoy the colourful floral displays in the beautiful Candie Gardens, one of the island’s finest public gardens.
