Sint Maarten is an island with a tropical climate and pleasant temperatures all year round . The best travel time depends on your preference for rest, festivities or a specific activity. Here is an overview by season:

Winter (December - April): This is the dry season and also the most popular travel time. The weather is sunny, humidity low and temperatures pleasant around 28°C. Ideal for beach holidays, water sports and exploring the island. Do bear in mind higher prices and crowds during these months.

Autumn (September - November): The quietest time of the year, with the lowest number of tourists. Although this is the height of hurricane season, prices are attractive and many places are extra quiet. For those who are flexible, this period offers an intimate island experience.
