Unique day trip to the Arctic Circle

This day, you will take a day trip to the Arctic Circle; a unique (long) day trip by air and land to the Arctic, flying from Fairbanks to Coldfoot, north of the Arctic Circle in the Brooks Mountain Range.

The flight offers panoramic views of the vast Alaskan wilderness. You will explore the south on the Dalton Highway, made famous during the construction of the Trans Alaska pipeline.

You will cross the Arctic Circle and have the opportunity to receive an official Arctic Circle Adventure certificate. You will then visit the spectacular Arctic tundra and feel the veins of ice just below the surface. Experience the mighty Yukon River, admire the majestic beauty of the North's most famous waterway and learn about its legendary past. See the remarkable Trans Alaska Pipeline and visit the Arctic Circle Trading Post, located in the rural community of Joy, Alaska.

NB. due to weather conditions, you may also travel there first by bus and back by plane.
