Azores - Sao Miguel - Whale Watching

A spectacular whale-watching excursion is scheduled for you in the morning. You will be transferred to the port of Ponta Delgada where the tour will start. During this activity, you will have a chance to spot some of the more than 28 species of cetaceans found in the Azores. Although nature offers no guarantees, whales and dolphins are regularly seen during the tour, along with turtles, sea birds and other marine life. Before the boat trip, biologists will give you a briefing to explain which species of cetaceans can be observed, safety measures for on board, how the animals are respected and observation rules at sea, as well as some historical facts.
