Avila Experience - Zebra migration in Makgadikgadi
You are no doubt familiar with the great wildebeest and zebra migration, which takes place annually in Tanzania and Kenya. This is the largest migration in Africa. But the second largest migration takes place in Botswana and this is even the last remaining migration in Southern Africa! The thousands of animals migrate twice a year, first from south to north and then back from north to south. The animals migrate to the areas, where it has rained and where they can therefore graze. The migration can be experienced both in the Okavango Delta area and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. An extraordinary experience!
