Yukon dogsled adventure

This dogsled adventure will take you 48 kilometres of beautiful trails. You will traverse frozen lakes, climb a mountain, test your agility on narrow, challenging trails and get in touch with history as you travel along old mining roads.During the lunch stop, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Fish Lake, have some time to pet your loyal dogs and get some rest. You will need that with an elevation of 800 metres! It is a truly challenging wilderness experience where you are one with your sled dogs. You will be amazed by their commitment, loyliness and relentless energy.

You yourself steer the sled pulled by 3 to 6 dogs. A professional guide, with wilderness first aid certificate & box goes along with his own sled. Beforehand, you will receive a comprehensive introduction & explanation on how to steer the sled and how to handle the dogs. You need to be in good shape to do this tour (the physical effort can be compared to cross-country skiing), the duration of the tour is about 6 hours and is conducted only in winter time. During and after the tour, you will be provided with hot drinks and snacks and it is possible to borrow winter equipment.
