In search of the northern lights

As soon as night falls over Canada's Northwest Territories, head out into the wilderness with your guide in search of the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. 400 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle, keep your eyes on the sky to see the elusive swirls of colour.

The northern lights are caused by magnetic storms where the sky is lit up by vibrant colours. Depending on the weather and location, there is a chance of seeing red or yellow-green lights, however, there is never a guarantee of seeing the northern lights. During the evening, however, your guide will be constantly on the lookout for the best spots to spot the Aurora Borealis.

The tour operates from mid-August to mid-April.
