Umnya Dune Camp

Umnya's story began with a chance meeting deep in the heart of the Sahara between our main nomads; Anas and Salah. Anas, with a background in luxury tourism, met Salah, a true nomad living in the desert, on an excursion. They spent hours getting to know each other, talking about their lives, the nomads' lifestyle, the desert, how they live and are happy with nothing, smiling all the time and dancing rain or sunshine.

Anas and Salah connected immediately, both impressed by the magical land that surrounded them - completely disconnected from reality. After receiving calls from Salah every day, for 15 days after their first meeting, Anas agreed to return to see the land... a vast and breathtaking space that would soon become home to Umnya.

Within three months, Umnya Dune Camp was born. The property is built on the foundations of love for the desert and a true nomadic lifestyle.

So our nomads now invite you to decompress among rolling dunes and ubiquitous sand. Forget the busy pace of daily life, and as the sun quickly sets, red and gold; watch the night bestow one of the desert's greatest gifts; a darkness that can only be found in such isolation.
