Silky Oaks Lodge

Known as one of Australia's luxury resorts, the remote Silky Oaks Lodge in Tropical North Queensland reopened in December 2021 after a multi-million dollar reconstruction by the team at Baillie Lodges. They brought their globally acclaimed style and sensibility to a truly iconic lodge and location in the UNESCO-recognised Daintree Rainforest.

Forty luxury treehouses, furnished with contemporary furniture and featuring local woods, offer a tranquil retreat overlooking the Mossman River or the rainforest, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural theatre of the environment. The open-air restaurant and bar welcome the peaceful sights and sounds of the rainforest, creating an extraordinary setting for relaxed fine dining.
