Kas Hamaka
Kas Hamaka's main building is an old (early 20th century) traditional Antillean house built of coral and (wrecked) wood. It had been completely renovated, but the Dutch owners have kept the look and spirit of the old authentic house.
The main house consists of:
Warawara is a flat with one bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a beautiful veranda with stunning ocean views. In the second flat Prikichi, can easily sleep a family of 4 or 5. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, living room with sofa bed and a large veranda with fantastic ocean views.
Behind the main building, they have built three spacious two-storey Lagadishi, Yuana and Toteki flats. Downstairs, each flat has a living room with kitchen, bathroom and a nice veranda with sitting area and hammock. The master bedroom is upstairs on the second floor and also has a sea-view terrace (veranda), where you can relax and enjoy the great view from your own sunbeds!
In the tropical garden, you will find an outdoor shower to rinse off the salt after a refreshing dip in the ocean in front of the house. You can use the large BBQ in the garden. Furthermore, a huge palapa has been built with a large table that can easily accommodate 8 guests. A great place to meet up, have a beer or share dinner!
The owners have named it Kas Hamaka, which means house of hammocks. So you can expect hammocks everywhere. The owners aim to create a fun Caribbean atmosphere.
