Voaara Madagascar

Opened in Madagascar in September 2024, Voaara is a new barefoot luxury resort with elegant tropical-style bungalows and villas. The resort introduces a progressive, community-driven concept to the region.

Located on the island of Sainte-Marie, on Madagascar's northeast coast, Voaara is a tribute to its surroundings. With exceptional nature, rich culture and just 30,000 inhabitants, the island offers a serene luxury experience: a pristine paradise in the Indian Ocean.

The resort is the first project of owner Philippe Kjellgren, founder of PK's List and Kiwi Collection. With years of expertise in luxury hotels worldwide, he developed a desire to create an authentic barefoot luxury experience. He brings his inspiration and experience together in Voaara, where every detail has been carefully chosen for quality, innovation and authenticity.

The name "Voaara" combines the Malagasy words 'Voarara' (forbidden or sacred) and 'Voara' (nature or fruit), symbolising a place of refined simplicity and quiet luxury surrounded by all the comforts of a five-star resort. The resort invites guests to become part of a community, with a number of villas available for sale to first-time guests.

The resort features eight luxury bungalows and a three-bedroom villa, a renovation of the existing resort.
