Uxua Casa Hotel & Spa

Uxua Casa Hotel & Spa features 10 unique casas that seamlessly integrate into the historic centre of Trancoso - a small fishing village on Brazil's idyllic southern Bahian coast. Four of the casas are restored fishermen's homes overlooking the 16th-century town of Quadrado, while the other six are hidden in lush private gardens. The casas were designed by designer Wilbert Das in collaboration with local artisans using traditional construction methods, reclaimed materials and Brazilian antiques and art. The design combines rustic elements with modern comfort and space.

Service at the Uxua Casa Hotel is offered in a friendly Bahian style and includes two restaurants specialising in traditional Bahian cuisine, a spa and gym, a unique swimming pool with healing Aventurine crystals and a spectacular beach lounge made from old fishing boats.
