Mowani Mountain Camp offers luxury tented accommodation with stunning desert views. From the private bathroom, which is placed outside, and your own private terrace, you can enjoy the views of Damaraland and nearby Twyfelfontein. This place is known for its rock drawings by the San, which tribe is also known as the Bushmen. Furthermore, in this area you also have the chance of encountering a real desert elephant. These animals have fully adapted to the area's climate.

The local nature conservancy ensures that the habitat of the desert elephant, among others, as well as the black rhinoceros, remains protected. At Mowani, everything is about sustainability and the local community. Thus, the guides are from this local community and they conduct daily game drives to look for zebras, kudu, springboks, klipspringers and if you are really extremely lucky, maybe even a leopard!
