Camping Acatenango volcano

Conquering the summit of the third-highest volcano in all of Central America is a breathtaking experience. Although Acatenango volcano is a calm dormant colossus, its neighbour, Fuego volcano (fire volcano), is one of the most active volcanoes in Guatemala making this trek a real adventure.

You will spend the night in tents near the camping site on the volcano, from where you will have a fantastic view of the Fuego volcano's eruptions.
