Blue Zebra Island Lodge

An authentic island experience! Just two hours' travel from Lilongwe, the exclusive Blue Zebra Island Lodge is located on Nankoma Island, part of the Marelli Archipelago in Lake Malawi National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

The 3 islands are home to a wide range of freshwater fish, including some of the rarest and most colourful in the world. The islands have diverse flora and fauna and are a paradise for birdwatchers.

A unique set-up with 9 safari-style tents with private bathrooms and 1 Superior Cottage with lake views. Secluded executive chalets offer stunning views from the private balcony, some with lake access. The chalets are set in pristine surroundings, immersed in nature.

Besides enjoying peace and quiet by the beach or pool here, you can also do other activities. For instance, there are nature trails on the island for hiking, you can do bird watching, kayaking, snorkelling, wakeboarding, water skiing, tubing or enjoy a sunset cruise. You can also dive here, although this is seasonal.
