Bethlen Estates - Transylvania (Romania)

Bethlen Estates is a family heritage project deeply rooted in the preservation of local heritage. Situated in the remote northern reaches of the still relatively unknown region of Transylvania in Romania, this collection of masterfully restored Saxon village houses offers a unique and authentic way to explore Europe’s last remaining wilderness in the greatest possible style and comfort. The estate is tucked away in the picturesque village of Criş, 12 km from the colourful citadel of Sighişoara, surrounded by flower-filled meadows, wooded valleys and a number of UNESCO World Heritage towns which guests can explore in the company of private guides.
