Greece is an attractive destination all year round. Each season has its own charm, depending on what you are looking for during your trip:

Spring (March - May): One of the most beautiful periods to visit Greece. Nature is in bloom, the weather is mild and it is still quiet. Ideal for hiking, cultural excursions and island hopping without the hustle and bustle of high season. On many islands, however, the season does not start until late April, so it can be quite quiet and some islands are not as easily accessible.

Summer (June - August): Sunny and warm, especially in July and August. Perfect for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. It is also the season of festivals and lively villages. Do expect higher temperatures and tourist crowds.

Autumn (September - November): The sea is still pleasantly warm, the weather remains mild and the crowds dwindle. An excellent period to enjoy culture, local wine festivals and the countryside. September and October are especially popular.

Winter (December - February): Quiet cities, fresh mountain landscapes and snow in the north. The ideal time for skiing in the mountains of northern Greece. It will be chilly in the cities and islands.

Note: July and August can be very hot, especially in cities. For active holidays or cultural trips, spring and autumn are often more pleasant in terms of temperature.
