Leeu Estates, an exclusive five-star boutique hotel with 17 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, occupies a central position on 68 hectares of vineyards, landscaped gardens and fynbos (native vegetation) in the Franschhoek Valley. The African word bokkie means small money, but is also a loving term used by South Africans, similar to 'beloved' or 'sweetheart'. Important to the Franchesca Watson-designed garden with its small herd is 'Reflective Resonance' by acclaimed sculptor Angus Taylor. It is a powerful piece in bronze and Belfast granite that is about to become Franschhoek.
